Salary: $95,000 to $135,000 per year Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, weekends on a voluntary basis Employment Status: Permanent position Shift: Evening, night Job Duties: Complete a rigorous and thorough pre-trip inspection of the truck and trailer before every departure. Perform loading and unloading duties for the tanker. Operate equipment safely and in accordance with company procedures. Fill out and submit all required documentation. Maintain safe driving habits and strictly obey the highway safety code. Working Conditions: All hours worked are paid, including waiting time. Unionized driver position. Paid training provided from day one. Equipment kept in excellent condition. Year-round work. Hourly and Distance Rates: - Regular rate: $35.00/hour - $0.466/km - $0.750/mile - Pump rate: $38.00/hour - $0.466/km - $0.750/mile - US rate : $36.50/hour - $0.480/km - $0.772/mile Qualifications: Valid Class 1 driver’s licence and a clean driving record. Experience driving a tractor-trailer tanker is an asset. Strong knowledge of road safety policies. Benefits: Work uniforms provided. $250 annual allowance for safety boots. $50 monthly allowance for cell phone use. Employee referral bonus program (up to $1,500). Shift Premiums: - Night shift: $40 or $60 per day or trip (depending on work completed). - Weekend shift: $80 or $100 per day or trip (depending on work completed). Annual performance bonus based on hours worked and preventable incidents. 10 paid sick days per year. 3 paid personal days per year. Pension plan with a $1.80/hour matching contribution from both the employer and employee for every hour worked.
